Bonjour! I'm Delphine, your French professor. My husband Adrien and I welcome you to our charming city in Southwest France. Our home is in an 8-story apartment building where you'll enjoy your own private studio apartment located just two floors above us. We look forward to making your stay warm, authentic, and memorable.

You can choose between two different French immersion programs (see details on my website):

- Basic Program (€1200/week): Includes 15 hours of French lessons; accommodation, and daily breakfast.
- Intensive Program (€1600 per week): Everything in the basic program plus daily lunch and three shared activities like exploring the town center, walking by the river or through the woods, and visiting local gems such as the market; library or flea market. This experience will give you at least 35 hours of French practice per week.

With a Master's degree in Teaching and Education and over a decade of experience as a primary school teacher -- and later, as a school director-- I've always been passionate about education. My love for language, travel and culture led me to a new path: teaching French as a foreign language. I earned my DAEFLE diploma with the Alliance Française in Paris and created this program to blend my teaching experience with my love of cultural exchange.

With French Bubble, your surroundings become your learning space: read French books and watch films in your apartment, chat with locals at the market, or pick up magazines at the library.

My program offers daily opportunities to practice French in authentic, real-life situations. From shopping for fresh ingredients to going on cultural excursions, you'll naturally build the confidence to think and speak in French — without even realizing you’re studying.

Levels taught

All levels are welcome !

You’ll stay in a 33m² private apartment, perfect for one or two people. It’s located just upstairs from my home, so we’ll stay connected throughout your stay — you’re always welcome to drop by!

The Apartment Includes:
- Comfortable double bed and cozy TV corner with French books and DVDs
- Fully equipped kitchen: oven, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, microwave...
- Spacious bathroom with large shower and washing machine
- Library access: tell me your interests and I’ll borrow books, CDs, or DVDs for you

Included:
- Breakfasts every day: On Mondays, enjoy a traditional French breakfast (croissants, pastries); on other days, you choose (eggs, bread, fruit…)

🍴 Intensive Program:

Homemade lunches included: seasonal, traditional French dishes with a healthy twist. I love cooking with vegetables, making soups in winter and salads in summer.
Please let me know about any dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) — all meals will be adapted to you.

Your immersion takes place in Pau, a vibrant town in the southwest of France, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees mountains. It’s the perfect place to enjoy:
-Hiking, skiing, surfing, and outdoor activities
-Local gastronomy and wine
-Art, culture, and history
Whether you love nature, cuisine, or culture, there’s something for everyone.

I offer a variety of full-day and half-day excursions, tailored to your interests:

Beach days or mountain hikes
Visit the Château de Pau
Wine tasting at local vineyards
Optional activities: yoga, cooking classes, and more

Getting there

You can easily reach us by plane, train or bus. I will pick you up at Pau airport or train station on your arrival day.
Nearby surrounding airports: Lourdes, Biarritz, Bordeaux, Toulouse

The accommodation is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is easy, safe and free to park on the street if you wish to rent a car. But a car is not mandatory to visit Pau. It is an easy 15 minute walk to the town center or you can use public transportation.

Things to know

Saturday night is free in case of multi-week stays
Extended stays (before or after your program) may be possible depending on availability
30% deposit required at booking; full payment due 1month before arrival (via bank transfer or Wise)
In case of emergency cancellation, you can postpone your stay within a year at no extra cost
Travel insurance is strongly recommended

30% of the amount of the stay is due at reservation. The balance must be paid 1 month before arrival.
